Teknik Pemetaan Sebaran Klorofil-A Dan Sea Surface Temperature (SST) Pada Perairan Karang Jeruk Kab. Tegal Berbasis Geographic Information System (GIS)

Penelitian ini memetakan sebaran klorofil-a dan suhu permukaan laut (SST) di Perairan Karang Jeruk, Kabupaten Tegal, menggunakan Geographic Information System (GIS) dengan data satelit dari JAXA Himawari dan NOAA GFS. Hasil pemetaan pada 13 Februari 2025 menunjukkan konsentrasi klorofil-a berkisar antara 0,01 – 0,12 mg/m³ dan SST antara 25-27°C, yang mendukung kehidupan fitoplankton dan produktivitas primer. Parameter kualitas air seperti salinitas, suhu, pH, dan kecerahan berada dalam rentang baku mutu yang baik, menunjukkan bahwa ekosistem terumbu karang di kawasan konservasi ini cukup sehat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar untuk pengelolaan ekosistem yang berkelanjutan di Perairan Karang Jeruk.
